12/28/06 - 2:39 AM That sinking feeling...I realized that, with the layers I have been using, I am only setting the site to be viewed at a certain resolution, namely 1280x1024. The site looks horid in any other resolution. The layers overlap, at some points obscuring the comic or text. If I want to fix this I will have to do an almost complete overhaul of the site. In other news, I got the scroll bars working...in only this resolution. That's how I realized it. I'll fix it later. The only good news is that I also realized I had the side bar set to larger than it needed to be, so I can also make it nicer at this resolution than it was. Considering this webcomic just started, the website is undergoing continuous changes and modifications. If we had readers, I'm sure they would mind. ~Keaton. P.S. But, damn, this News page is perfect in my resolution right now! It might even be worth the wasted effort to see such a nicely put together page. 12/28/06 - 1:24 AM Not much to report. I tried to use the chatbox as the News section, but it is limited to 200 characters, which made it utterly worthless for a news post. Other than that, I didn't get much time on the site today. The only real news I have to report, other than that the chatbox does not work for news, is that, in two days time the navigation buttons will become visible. That's just how it works; five comics must be in the database for some odd reason, otherwise the nav buttons are invisible, as they are now. Also, in seventeen days I can apply for a forum, as you need twenty uploaded comics to be eligible for a forum. Hopefully we will have readers by then! Also, I will hopefully find a newsbox without character cap and have the news on the main page, if not I will add scroll bars here. ~Keaton. 12/26/06 This is the first entry on the news page. It is I, Keaton, the Grand Creator (of this site). I have been working on site links and this first entry is neccessary to test my news link. Thank you, and enjoy the comic(s)! ~Keaton. by Keaton and Dray |
